General Information:
Every Friday is Lakeview Spirit Day! Show your LION PRIDE! Wear your blue and green or new school shirt! Students will earn a HOT Ticket for wearing the school colors!
SEP Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 25. Please do everything you can to arrange your schedule to meet with me on one of these days to go over your child's progress and to make sure he/she is on the 'right track' to be ready for 3rd grade as the school year is nearing the end! A note will come home as the time gets closer.
ROAD TO SUCCESS Folders
Road to Success Folders are due every Monday. Parents need to write in the minutes read each day and total each week. A parent signature is also required. Students who meet the goal of 100 minutes, earn a HOT Ticket from me and they get a ticket to go in the school drawing for the bike at the end of the year!
Ice Cream For Chapter Books Program
The students are doing a terrific job with the Chapter Book Program! We had 100% for January and February! Thank you for your support at home listening to your child read and helping to make creative projects to go with the book. The students have earned ice cream for both months! Lets keep it up for March and April! All students who read a chapter book and do a project to share in class (January-April) will make it to the huge ice cream party in May! Look below for several CREATIVE book report pictures from January and February!
March Library Passports
The theme for this month is Non-Fiction! Please encourage and help your child to complete his/her passport early in the month. Students receive a HOT Ticket from me and a reward from Mrs. Hansen in the library. So far our class has had 100% every month! We have received a class treat from Mrs. Hansen too! Way to go Mrs. Drake's Engineers!
