Principal’s Message
March 2010

The month of March marks the last term of the school year. We look forward to Parent Conferences on March 24th and 25th from 1:45 - 6:00. School will dismiss at 1:25 that Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mark your calendars now and plan to come and visit with us about how we can work together to give each student a wonderful experience. I would encourage you while here to recognize the great things the teachers and staff do to provide a wonderful environment to learn. I want to acknowledge the PTA for all the things that happen at Lakeview as a result of that organization. We appreciate Shannon Edwards for the leadership she have given this year. We also want to recognize Christy Gomm as the Golden Apple Volunteer at Lakeview. Schools are a reflection of the patrons and community they work with. We want to continually work together to improve and respond to your good ideas and opinions. It is the time of year to organize the school community council. If you are interested and willing to be involved on theschool community council please come to the office and fill out a nomination form. Elections for positions will be held in early May. Being a member of the community council means attending a few meetings to discuss how to improve the school. The council approves the school’s Student Achievement Plan, School Trust Land funds and the Routing Plan. Once again, thank you for all of the current involvement and support.
Please be aware that Spring Break is coming quickly. It will begin with Easter weekend, April 3rd and school will resume on April 12th.
